JAMMU, MARCH 28: Health Minister Sakeena Itoo informed the Assembly that the GMC and Associated Hospital in Udhampur are operating according to prescribed standards, providing efficient services for outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and diagnostic care.
Regarding the incident on January 23 in the Emergency Section, an internal inquiry confirmed that staff responded promptly and followed medical protocols. A comprehensive investigation, led by Professor Ashutosh Gupta, is underway to review the administrative and institutional aspects.
The Minister reiterated the government's commitment to providing accountable, high-quality healthcare across the Union Territory.
