First Phase Training for Presiding and Polling Officers Begins in Goalpara
Goalpara, Assam – In preparation for the upcoming Assembly elections, the Goalpara district administration has begun the first phase of training for presiding and polling officers.
The training programs are being conducted at Prithviram Government Higher Secondary and Multipurpose School, Goalpara College, and Goalpara Polytechnic.
According to the district administration, polling will be conducted at a total of 1,010 polling stations across the district in the upcoming elections. Of these, 80 polling stations will be managed entirely by female officials.
