Amaravati, March 13 The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet on Friday assigned a group of ministers to analyze the regional repercussions of the ongoing conflict in West Asia.
Speaking at a press conference at the secretariat, I&PR Minister K Parthasarathy said the Group of Ministers (GoM) will closely monitor the escalating tensions between the US and Iran to take necessary measures.
He said the group has been tasked with assessing the financial strain on the southern state and monitoring potential disruptions in the supply of gas and diesel.
The minister added that the ministers will establish a priority list for gas distribution, ensuring that educational institutions and hospitals receive preference.
The GoM will also decide how to address issues related to cooking gas, he added.
