In a post on X, Khandu said that Good Friday serves as a moment not only of remembrance but also of introspection.
"Good Friday is not just about remembrance, but also about introspection. It's a reminder that strength lies in restraint, dignity in sacrifice, and victory in moral courage. May we carry these values in our lives. Blessed #GoodFriday," the chief minister said.
Mein, in a social media post, also conveyed his greetings, calling on people to reflect on the profound message associated with the day.
"On this solemn occasion of Good Friday, let us reflect on the sacrifice of Lord Jesus Christ and the profound message of love, forgiveness, and redemption. May this day strengthen our faith and guide us on the path of holiness and righteousness. Wishing you all a blessed and peaceful Good Friday," Mein said.
Good Friday, observed by Christians across the world, commemorates the crucifixion of Lord Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for humanity. The day is marked by prayers, church services, and reflection on the themes of compassion, forgiveness, and redemption.
