February 25, New Delhi – Google has stated that it disrupted a hacking group linked to China, which had breached at least 53 organizations in 42 countries.
The tech giant said that the group was a sophisticated surveillance system used to spy on individuals and organizations worldwide.
Google and its partners terminated Google Cloud projects controlled by the hacking group, identified and disabled the internet infrastructure it was using, and disabled accounts the group used to access Google Sheets, which it used to carry out its targeting and data theft operations.
