SAMBA, February 16: Deputy Commissioner Ayushi Sudan inaugurated a state-of-the-art laparoscopic machine at Government Hospital Ghagwal, enhancing minimally invasive surgical care for residents of the district. The equipment was provided by Sun Pharma under its CSR initiative and implemented by ELFA International.

The technology offers reduced surgical risk, shorter recovery times, and improved patient outcomes, making advanced care accessible at a government facility. DC Sudan emphasized the need for staff training to ensure the optimal use of the new infrastructure and engaged with doctors, ASHA workers, and PHC personnel to address frontline healthcare challenges, including TB treatment.

The event was attended by SDM Ghagwal KJS Bali, CMO Samba Dr. Vidhi Bhatial, and representatives from Sun Pharma and ELFA International. This initiative reflects Samba's commitment to inclusive, modern, and high-quality healthcare.
