March 10th, Aizawl: Leaders of the Mizoram Hindi Prachar Sabha appealed to the Governor to take necessary steps to introduce Hindi language education starting from the primary level in government schools across the state. During the meeting, the delegation engaged in extensive discussions with the Governor regarding various strategies to promote and develop the Hindi language in Mizoram. Key issues discussed included avenues to secure increased funding from the Central Government and various corporate entities to support language promotion initiatives.
The delegation also drew the Governor's attention to the numerous spelling errors in the Hindi names of various villages and localities across Mizoram, stressing the urgent need to rectify these mistakes. Additionally, they emphasized the importance of adopting a more practical-oriented approach to teaching the Hindi language to students.
