March 3rd, Aizawl: During the ceremony, which was attended by Chief Minister Lalduhoma and Sports Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar, the Governor praised the recent establishment of the NCC Group Headquarters in Aizawl as a significant achievement. Looking ahead, General Singh directed the Group Commander to actively pursue the introduction of a Naval Wing in Mizoram, stating that the state possesses the motivated youth and resources needed for its success.

Referring to his own experience at an NCC Advanced Leadership Camp in 1965, the Governor emphasized how such training instills enduring leadership qualities. He commended the cadets for their dedication in passing rigorous screenings to represent Mizoram at events such as the Republic Day Camp (RDC), the All India Vayu Sainik Camp (AIVSC), and the Special National Integration Camp (SNIC).

The Governor and Chief Minister presented mementos and certificates to the cadets, encouraging them to maintain their discipline and loyalty to the nation.
