JAMMU, FEBRUARY 27: A delegation of graduate engineers from the Power Development Department met with Minister Javed Ahmed Rana to highlight long-standing concerns affecting their cadre.
The engineers requested a resolution to pending issues, including the regularization of in-charge engineers, stalled promotions since 2015, timely crediting of National Pension Scheme contributions, promotion of 2014-regularized engineers, and the implementation of the Assured Career Progression (ACP) Scheme. They cited delays in Departmental Promotion Committees and NPS credits as impacting morale and financial security.
The Minister assured that their concerns would be examined with priority and taken up with the Chief Minister, emphasizing the government's commitment to fair, transparent, and timely grievance redressal and career progression.
