Greengrass to Direct 'Test Drive' Thriller.webp

Los Angeles, March 20 Filmmaker Paul Greengrass is in talks to direct the upcoming thriller feature for 20th Century, titled "Test Drive".

According to the entertainment news outlet Deadline, the film is described as a "two-hander action thriller" and is produced by Joby Harold, Joanna Kaye and Tory Tunnell under their banner Safe House alongside Greg Goodman.

The plot details are being kept under wraps.

Greengrass had his breakthrough in 2002 with "Bloody Sunday", which starred James Nesbitt in the lead role. The filmmaker was also nominated at the Oscars in the Best Director category for his 2006 film "United 93".

His latest work is "The Lost Bus", which is scheduled for release on September 19, 2025. The director also wrote the screenplay for the film alongside Brad Ingelsby.

It is based on Lizzie Johnson's 2021 book "Paradise: One Town's Struggle to Survive an American Wildfire". It revolves around the story of school bus driver Kevin McKay and teacher Mary Ludwig, who saved 22 children from the 2018 Camp Fire in Paradise, California.

Besides "Test Drive", Greengrass is directing "The Uprising", which stars Andrew Garfield.
