President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President C P Radhakrishnan extended greetings to the people on the occasion of the Sarhul festival today.
In a social media post, President Murmu stated that the festival, celebrated on the arrival of new flowers on the trees each year, symbolizes new beginnings with fresh energy. She also emphasized that the festival highlights the collective consciousness of the tribal community and their deep connection with nature.
The President also urged citizens to commit to moving forward on the path of development while conserving natural resources. Vice President C P Radhakrishnan wished that the festival brings peace and prosperity to every home.
