New Delhi, March 10 Apis India, a consumer foods company based in Delhi, expects to grow at a CAGR of around 15 per cent over the next five years, according to its Managing Director, Amit Anand.
The company, which operates in the segments of honey, dates, etc., is witnessing an increase in the consumption of wellness products, driven by factors such as rising disposable income, a growing economy, and a focus on health alternatives.
"We are growing steadily. We are expanding our marketing and distribution efforts. In segments like honey, our growth is almost 18 per cent compared to last year," said Anand.
Currently, millennials are increasingly opting for healthier alternatives, seeking products that replace sugar.
"Honey and dates are both popular for this reason," he said.
In addition, Apis India plans to open a new plant for producing jam in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, and a CFA (Carrying and Forwarding Agent) depot.
Apis India's consolidated sales for the financial year ending March 31, 2025, were Rs 352.21 crore.
As part of its strategy to expand into adjacent sectors, Apis India entered the snacking category on Tuesday with the launch of Masala Dates.
