The National Housing Bank has launched the Gruh Sugam Portal to promote a cost-effective housing finance system. The portal enables Defence and Government personnel to easily obtain home loans from their place of posting. The Ministry of Finance stated that this portal will accelerate the adoption of digital lending and promote financial inclusion. It added that the portal will facilitate increased home ownership through improved access to housing loans, thereby strengthening the mission of promoting affordable and sustainable housing finance.
