New Delhi, March 9 Guar seed prices rose by Rs 87 to Rs 5,338 per quintal on Monday in futures trading, driven by increased investment activity.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for April delivery increased by Rs 87, or 1.63%, to Rs 5,338 per quintal, with an open interest of 40,085 lots.
Market participants said that despite a fall in spot prices, increased investment activity supported guar seed prices in futures trading.
