New Delhi, April 6 Guar gum prices fell by Rs 17 to Rs 10,947 per quintal on Monday in futures trading, as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for May delivery declined by Rs 17, or 0.16 percent, to Rs 10,947 per quintal in 43,670 lots.
Marketmen said slack demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
