New Delhi, March 19 Guar gum prices fell by Rs 83 to Rs 10,006 per quintal on Thursday in futures trading, as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for April delivery declined by Rs 83, or 0.82 percent, to Rs 10,006 per quintal in 61,195 lots.
Marketmen said slack demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
