New Delhi, March 11 Guar gum prices fell by Rs 2 to Rs 10,174 per quintal on Wednesday in futures trading, as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for April delivery declined by Rs 2, or 0.02 percent, to Rs 10,174 per quintal in 52,830 lots.
Marketmen said slack demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
