New Delhi, April 9 Guar gum prices fell by Rs 148 to Rs 10,767 per quintal on Thursday in futures trading, as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for May delivery declined by Rs 148, or 1.36%, to Rs 10,767 per quintal in 50,430 lots.
Marketmen said slack demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
