
New Delhi, March 25 Guar gum prices rose by ₹79 to ₹10,123 per quintal in futures trading on Wednesday, as speculators increased their holdings in response to strong spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for April delivery traded higher by ₹79, or 0.78%, at ₹10,123 per quintal, with an open interest of 49,015 lots.
Analysts said that traders increased their positions based on the firm trend in the physical market, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
