
New Delhi, April 7 Guar gum prices rose by Rs 11 to Rs 10,924 per quintal in futures trading on Tuesday, as speculators increased their holdings in response to strong demand in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for May delivery traded higher by Rs 11, or 0.10 per cent, to Rs 10,924 per quintal, with an open interest of 46,360 lots.
Analysts said that traders increased their positions based on a firm trend in the physical market, which led to an increase in guar gum prices.
