
New Delhi, February 27 Guar gum prices rose by Rs 31 to Rs 10,007 per quintal in futures trading on Friday, as speculators increased their holdings in response to strong spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for March delivery traded higher by Rs 31 or 0.31 percent at Rs 10,007 per quintal, with an open interest of 29,985 lots.
Analysts said that traders increased their positions after observing a strong physical market trend, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
