
New Delhi, February 19 Guar gum prices rose by ₹65 to ₹9,905 per quintal in futures trading on Thursday, as speculators increased their holdings in response to strong demand in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for March delivery traded higher by ₹65, or 0.66%, at ₹9,905 per quintal, with an open interest of 60,425 lots.
Analysts said that traders increased their positions based on the strong trend in the physical market, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
