
New Delhi, April 8 Guar gum prices rose by Rs 59 to Rs 10,945 per quintal in futures trading on Wednesday, as speculators increased their holdings amid strong spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for May delivery rose by Rs 59, or 0.54 percent, to Rs 10,945 per quintal, with an open interest of 46,880 lots.
Analysts said that traders increased their bets after observing a strong physical market trend, which led to an increase in guar gum prices.
