New Delhi, March 10 Guar gum prices fell by Rs 116 to Rs 10,256 per quintal on Tuesday in futures trading, as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for April delivery declined by Rs 116, or 1.13 per cent, to Rs 10,256 per quintal in 50,430 lots.
Marketmen said slack demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
