New Delhi, March 6 Guar gum prices fell by Rs 12 to Rs 9,775 per quintal in futures trading on Friday, as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for April delivery declined by Rs 12, or 0.12 percent, to Rs 9,775 per quintal in 41,700 lots.
Marketmen said the slack in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
