New Delhi, March 2 Guar gum prices fell by Rs 263 to Rs 9,800 per quintal on Monday in futures trading, as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for April delivery declined by Rs 263, or 2.61 per cent, to Rs 9,800 per quintal in 34,535 lots.
Market participants said the slack in demand in the spot market and the availability of supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
