New Delhi, February 25 Guar gum prices fell by Rs 27 to Rs 9,997 per quintal on Wednesday in futures trading, as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for March delivery declined by Rs 27, or 0.27 percent, to Rs 9,997 per quintal in 44,340 lots.
Market participants said the slack in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
