New Delhi, February 26 Guar gum prices fell by Rs 22 to Rs 10,078 per quintal on Thursday in futures trading, as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for March delivery declined by Rs 22, or 0.22 percent, to Rs 10,078 per quintal in 23,485 lots.
Marketmen said slack demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
