
New Delhi, March 20 Guar gum prices rose by Rs 57 to Rs 10,050 per quintal in futures trading on Friday, as speculators increased their holdings amid strong demand in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for April delivery rose by Rs 57, or 0.57%, to Rs 10,050 per quintal, with an open interest of 60,115 lots.
Analysts said that traders increased their positions based on a strong physical market trend, which led to an increase in guar gum prices.
