New Delhi, February 18 Guar gum prices rose by ₹45 to ₹9,975 per quintal on Wednesday in futures trading, as speculators increased their holdings amid strong spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for March delivery traded higher by ₹45 or 0.45% at ₹9,975 per quintal, with an open interest of 60,725 lots.
Analysts said that traders increased their bets after observing a firm trend in the physical market, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
