New Delhi, March 6 Guar seed prices declined by Rs 16 to Rs 5,356 per quintal in futures trading on Friday, due to a surplus of supply.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for April delivery fell by Rs 16, or 0.30 percent, to Rs 5,356 per quintal, with an open interest of 34,160 lots.
Market analysts attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increased supply from growing regions.
