New Delhi, April 9 Guar seed prices declined by Rs 62 to Rs 5,727 per quintal in futures trading on Thursday, due to an oversupply.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for May delivery fell by Rs 62, or 1.07%, to Rs 5,727 per quintal, with an open interest of 52,295 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline in guar seed prices to the increasing supply from growing regions.
