New Delhi, April 10 Guar seed prices declined by Rs 47 to Rs 5,724 per quintal in futures trading on Friday, due to an oversupply.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for April delivery fell by Rs 47, or 0.82%, to Rs 5,724 per quintal, with an open interest of 56,645 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline in guar seed prices to increased supply from growing regions.
