New Delhi, February 26 Guar seed prices declined by Rs 5 to Rs 5,382 per quintal in futures trading on Thursday due to ample supply.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for March delivery fell by Rs 5, or 0.09%, to Rs 5,382 per quintal, with an open interest of 48,800 lots.
Market participants attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supply from growing regions.
