
New Delhi, April 7 Guar seed prices declined by Rs 8 to Rs 5,775 per quintal in futures trading on Tuesday, due to an oversupply.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for April delivery fell by Rs 8, or 0.14 percent, to Rs 5,775 per quintal, with an open interest of 47,210 lots.
Market participants attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increased supply from growing regions.
