New Delhi, April 1 Guar seed prices rose by Rs 76 to Rs 5,773 per quintal in futures trading on Wednesday, driven by increased investor activity.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for May delivery increased by Rs 76, or 1.32%, to Rs 5,773 per quintal, with an open interest of 34,355 lots.
Market participants said that despite a fall in spot prices, increased investor activity supported guar seed prices in futures trading.
