New Delhi, March 13 Guar seed prices rose by Rs 21 to Rs 5,498 per quintal in futures trading on Friday, driven by increased investment activity.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for April delivery rose by Rs 21, or 0.38 percent, to Rs 5,498 per quintal, with an open interest of 50,750 lots.
Market participants said that despite a decline in spot prices, increased investment activity supported guar seed prices in futures trading.
