New Delhi, February 25 Guar seed prices rose by Rs 11 to Rs 5,406 per quintal in futures trading on Wednesday, driven by increased investment activity.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for March delivery increased by Rs 11 or 0.20% to Rs 5,406 per quintal, with an open interest of 52,570 lots.
Market participants said that despite a decline in spot prices, increased investment activity supported guar seed prices in futures trading.
