
New Delhi, April 8 Guar seed prices rose by Rs 25 to Rs 5,799 per quintal on Wednesday in futures trading, driven by increased investor activity.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for May delivery increased by Rs 25, or 0.43 percent, to Rs 5,799 per quintal, with an open interest of 50,190 lots.
Market participants said that despite a decline in spot prices, increased investor activity supported guar seed prices in futures trading.
