New Delhi, March 16 Guar seed prices rose by Rs 20 to Rs 5,429 per quintal in futures trading on Monday, driven by increased investment activity.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for April delivery increased by Rs 20, or 0.37%, to Rs 5,429 per quintal, with an open interest of 50,850 lots.
Market analysts said that despite a decline in spot prices, increased investment activity supported guar seed prices in futures trading.
