New Delhi, April 2 Guar seed prices rose by Rs 23 to Rs 5,810 per quintal in futures trading on Thursday, driven by increased investment activity.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for May delivery rose by Rs 23, or 0.40%, to Rs 5,810 per quintal, with an open interest of 36,945 lots.
Market analysts said that despite a fall in spot prices, increased investment activity supported guar seed prices in futures trading.
