New Delhi, February 27 Guar seed prices declined by Rs 4 to Rs 5,400 per quintal in futures trading on Friday, due to an oversupply.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for March delivery fell by Rs 4, or 0.07 percent, to Rs 5,400 per quintal, with an open interest of 46,790 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline in guar seed prices to increased supply from growing regions.
