New Delhi, March 20 Guar seed prices rose by Rs 27 to Rs 5,446 per quintal in futures trading on Friday, driven by increased investment activity.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for April delivery increased by Rs 27, or 0.50 percent, to Rs 5,446 per quintal, with an open interest of 47,965 lots.
Market participants said that despite a fall in spot prices, increased investment activity supported guar seed prices in futures trading.
