New Delhi, March 18 Guar seed prices rose by Rs 51 to Rs 5,466 per quintal in futures trading on Wednesday, driven by increased investment activity.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for April delivery rose by Rs 51, or 0.94%, to Rs 5,466 per quintal, with an open interest of 49,765 lots.
It closed at Rs 5,415 per quintal in the previous trading session on Tuesday.
Market participants said that despite a fall in spot prices, higher investment activity supported guar seed prices in futures trading.
