New Delhi, February 18 Guar seed prices rose by Rs 24 to Rs 5,420 per quintal in futures trading on Wednesday, driven by increased investment activity.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for March delivery increased by Rs 24 or 0.44% to Rs 5,420 per quintal, with an open interest of 62,470 lots.
Market analysts said that despite a fall in spot prices, increased investment activity supported guar seed prices in futures trading.
