New Delhi, March 5 Guar seed prices rose by Rs 44 to Rs 5,318 per quintal on Thursday in futures trading, driven by increased investment activity.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for April delivery increased by Rs 44, or 0.47%, to Rs 5,318 per quintal, with an open interest of 33,855 lots.
Market participants said that despite a decline in spot prices, increased investment activity supported guar seed prices in futures trading.
