New Delhi, February 19 Guar seed prices rose by Rs 7 to Rs 5,355 per quintal in futures trading on Thursday, driven by increased investment activity.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for March delivery increased by Rs 7, or 0.13 percent, to Rs 5,355 per quintal, with an open interest of 65,850 lots.
Market participants said that despite a decline in spot prices, increased investment activity supported guar seed prices in futures trading.
