New Delhi, March 19 Guar seed prices declined by Rs 43 to Rs 5,431 per quintal in futures trading on Thursday, due to an oversupply.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for April delivery fell by Rs 43, or 0.79 percent, to Rs 5,431 per quintal, with an open interest of 52,615 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline in guar seed prices to increased supply from growing regions.
