New Delhi, March 4 Guar seed prices declined by Rs 22 to Rs 5,300 per quintal in futures trading on Wednesday, due to an oversupply.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for April delivery fell by Rs 22, or 0.42%, to Rs 5,300 per quintal, with an open interest of 28,695 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline in guar seed prices to the increasing supply from growing regions.
