Gujarat Company Sees Potential in Uttar Pradesh Potato Market.webp

Sabarkantha (Gujarat), March 1 In a potato-growing region of Gujarat, a company called HyFun Foods is making a bet on the future of French fries. By focusing on higher temperatures in Uttar Pradesh, they believe the state can become a major producer of French fries, just like France.

"We have seen that the temperature in Uttar Pradesh has been increasing, and this is leading to a higher demand for French fries," said Soundarradjane S, CEO of HyFarm Foods.

HyFarm Foods is working with over 7,000 farmers in Gujarat, and they are planning to expand their operations to Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh in the next few years.

The company is also focusing on improving the quality of the potatoes they produce, by using a new seed-to-shelf model. This model involves growing the potatoes from seed, processing them, and then selling them to consumers.

This model allows HyFarm Foods to control the entire process, from seed to shelf, and to ensure that the potatoes they produce are of the highest quality.

The company is also working with farmers to improve their farming practices, by providing them with training and support.

"We are committed to helping farmers in Gujarat to grow the best quality potatoes," said Soundarradjane S.

HyFarm Foods is a privately held company, and it was founded in 2015. The company is based in Sabarkantha, Gujarat, and it has offices in Ahmedabad and Mumbai.

The company is focused on the potato market, and it is one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry.
